Apparently, LR got confused as it was doing background tasks, and once those ended LR was able to authenticate.
Ben,
I've set both the BL api key and the publisher key to very simple keys (e.g. Test) and it fails to authenticate.
I had not changed the api key at all and it started failing, at which point I put new api key in both locations and it fails (after reboots and multiple tries)
Publisher 5.01
After Ben cleaned up the DB for search I'm getting an Authentication Check error.
I've changed the API to a known match (multiple times) and publisher still will not authenticate.
I closed and restarted LR and the system, but no change in results. I've glanced at the host logs and didn't see anything, but could have missed it.
Not sure where to go next. Also not sure what has change other than the search cleanup in BL3.
Thoughts?
Thanks, it is working now.
:-)
OK, I'll try it again,
Thanks for the help
:-)
Want to change the search page to
PJL LT1 Galleria Search
This is a light background page
the old one is blue maroon menu.
Thanks
:-)
Got it, last time the icons weren't there
Thanks,
:-)
I switched to a pangolin template and the map option is not grayed out !
However there is not an option when the album displayed to click on a map, what am I missing?
Thanks,
:-)
Thanks Ben, but no cigar...
the error is gone, but still unable to assign a new search page and it is showing the old search page.
Thanks Ben,
I've been with TTG for a while, before CE, I've upgrade through all of the CEs and BL 1-3.
Yes, please clean it up. I greatly appreciate that.
Best regards,
Patrick :-)
Request for Enhancement
add MAPS to Galleria?
Yep, you nailed it. Galleria doesn't support maps, but the base pangolin does.
Possibly update the documentation?
Thanks,
Patrick :-)
I'm using galleria, that may be the issue.
I'll experiment
:-)
Hopefully Ben can look at it
Thanks, I'll look at the mobile stuff.
Sent you an email
Using 5.01 published 5/4 updated 5/3
are there some pangolin templates only that support MAPS and not all?
thanks,
:-)
Yes to all of the usual things, and multiple times too. It seems as though maybe the DB is corrupted. Have no idea where to go next
go ahead and log in, same pwd as last time
PatrickLynchPhotography.com
also if there is something on the backlight side I have to do for maps would appreciate that as well.
:-)
I created a new album template (pangolin) and assigned it to search, but still get this error
Unable to find template with id 12. Try updating the selected template for the application. in EngineFactory.php on line 67
Not sure,
in LR in edit album in publisher the checkbox for maps is grayed out, but the photos have gps coordinates. Where else do maps have to be enabled?
Images have GPS coordinates in album. I'm guessing it has something to do with google charging for maps. Can you point me to a blog article or documentation?
Thanks,
:-)
Now, several days later, and having updated the album many times it is now displaying. No idea what changed
I've tried to cleanup my templates,
Not sure what the old one, I just updated to the new one and am not sure what the old one was. After the cleanup I get this error
Unable to find template with id 12. Try updating the selected template for the application. in EngineFactory.php on line 67
All the ones I deleted showed as having 0 0 for albums and pages
Please could the line that has the LR publisher plugin also contain its version. short of downloading and checking changelog it is hard to know if you need a new version.
Thanks,
:-)
From BL >Templates>List templates there is a column in the display called "Pages" that has a count of how many times the template has been used in a page.
It would be useful to be able to expand that count to the list of pages that are in use, somewhat analogous to BL>Publisher Albums column. It would help tracking down where pages are coming from.
Thanks,
:-)
