?map box in publisher is grayed out?

Images have GPS coordinates in album.   I'm guessing it has something to do with google charging for maps.   Can you point me to a blog article or documentation?

The map function works fine for me. Did you enable maps in the album setup?

Not sure,
in LR in edit album in publisher the checkbox for maps is grayed out, but the photos have gps coordinates.  Where else do maps have to be enabled?

Are you on the latest version of Publisher?

Maps is never greyed out for me. Even if no images have GPS data

Using 5.01 published 5/4 updated 5/3
are there some pangolin templates only that support MAPS and not all?

Pangolin album supports maps.
I don’t think that maps are supported in Theater or Galleria

I'm using galleria, that may be the issue.

Yep, you nailed it. Galleria doesn't support maps, but the base pangolin does.
Possibly update the documentation?

Pangolin and Okapi albums only
Not Theater or Galleria.
Keep in mind that Galleria is created by a third party as is most of the presentations found in a Theater. Matt is probably limited to what those presentations are capable of.

I switched to a pangolin template and the  map option is not grayed out !
However there is not an option when the album displayed to click on a map,   what am I missing?

go to the large photo and click on the image icon in the upper right. the map icon is in that group
