General Help Request
Hi Guys,
Just looking for a few pointers really.
Having moved my photography stuff along a bit I now want to split my family site from my main photography site. I have snagged one of the new TLD's (jonevans.photography) and thought I would point it to a sub-domain folder on my existing kopstone.co.uk site on Bluehost. Then I can buy more excellent TTG products like Cart and Client Response Gallery to sell my work. 
So, is it a relatively easy process to move my blog to the new subdomain structure and would anyone have a link to some resource on the process. Or should I not bother and just start a new blog? Then again I could just keep the blog and point to it from the menu. Any views, help, advice would be much appreciated.

The WordPress codex entry on Moving WordPress is probably the best reading to be found:

Note that you cannot move published galleries; you will need to setup Publisher on the new space and publish fresh.

Thanks Matt,
Appreciate the pointer. My intention was to un-publish the galleries that I didn't want to leave on the family site and then re-publish them in the new location.
Presumably the downside of leaving the blog where it is would be that it would keep it's formatting from the existing site.
Could I just point the blog to the new pages location and point pages at the blog location. Then I would not have to worry about re-locating it?
Would I need to purchase the plugins again for this sub-domain Matt?

No need to purchase again. You can deploy the plugin to as many domains or sites as you own.
I'm confused by all the pointing. Do you just mean hyperlinking the two locations each to the other?

Hi Matt,
The Wordpress Codex Link worked a treat and I used the Velvet plugin which quickly and efficiently changed all the database url links to my new domain.
I did have a couple of cock-ups before I read the Codex properly which resulted in me losing my most recent 3 posts. But no worries as I had a back up and just re-published them again.
So I now have a test site up and running at http://jonevans.photography for me to play with
