When I purchased the Cart and WP add-ins, the only thing that downloaded was the readme file for each. The Backlight+pages worked correctly.
Still not crystal clear. Is the following correct?
Currently, with one site on Bluehost (M2Phorojourney.com), I have the following at the root of the account
/public_html
backlight
Galleries
wp-....... i.e., all the various Wordpress folders
etc
If I set up a second site, I leave the above in place and add the following to public_html:
/public_html
site2.com
backlight
galleries
(second set of WP folders)
I just had to delete my Bluehost account due to an error on my part. Am considering going with another provider if the folder structure would more conventional
I am also setting up on Bluehost and would like to clarify the above. My directory structure currently includes the following
public_html
Backlight
Galleries
wp-.........
M2photojourney.com
mhayes.us
I want separate instances for the m2photojourney.com and mhayes.us sites. Should I change to the following
public_html
M2photojourney.com
Backlight
mhayes.us
Backlight
What about the wordpress folders?
1) I was unable to find the reset link in the cart dashboard in the menus or the documentation. I tried a few things but am still getting "no products for sale". The test and live paypal credentials are still the same.
It was working initially, so I suspect I scrambled something. I tried reinstalling the "backlight/cart" and "module-cart" folders to no effect. Is deleting the "backlight/data/cart" folder the correct way to start over? First, please have a look with the credentials below:

2) I could not find any documentation on Packages but by browsing the menu, it appears to be for ordering multiple versions of a single image, not a predefined set of different images.
Thanks
I am transitioning from CE2 to Backlight and am having trouble with the new cart setup process
1)
I have one sample gallery setup with the cart. in LR the the gallery's cart pricing profile is listed as "default". I cannot find where this is in the Backlight cart pages. The prices shown on the web site are what I have entered but there are additional charges for Matte and Glossy that I have deleted. Where can I find the settings to edit the prices shown. I did try clearing the template cache.

2)
in my CE2 site, I sell some sets of prints. The only way I could think of to sell these is to a) have a gallery that shows each image in the set, with no cart attached and b) have another gallery that lists each set with a sample image, with the cart attached to the sample. See the following for what I mean:

One solution would be to have a gallery set (Folios) containing a gallery for each group of images, with cart attached to the gallery, not the contained images. Since this is not an option, any better ideas, other than what I did using CE2 above?
Thanks
Mike Hayes
Edit: another issue is that when I set the cart to testing mode, I get " no products for sale". I have the same credentials entered for testing and live, based on feedback from Paypal. Is this correct?
Thanks Matt. Problem solved.
One of my sites is still running under CE2. I am working on a Backlight upgrade but my site hosting company was just purchased and the content was migrated to new servers.
I have a problem wit display of some pages that I suspect is due to some services not being active on the hosing server. Here is an example.

I know this is no longer supported but any thoughts on the cause would be appreciated?
Thanks

Thanks
Bye.
Problem resolved.
I followed the advice given and still had the error. However I then went to the .../backlight page and logged in. This resolved the issue, which may have been the solution all along.
Thanks.
A follow up question: I have spent limited time with Backlight until now and have only a small test site. I now but plan to re-do my CE2 based site that is a commercial site that I need to keep running until the new one is debugged. To make the new site live, do I simply copy the content from "test.mysite" to "mysite" and edit the backlight settings page? If there is a better way, is there a writeup on how to switch?
Correction: Instead of copying, I assume I should just rename the top level folders on the server and edit the Backlight settings. Is this correct?
I followed the instructions for 1.2 and 1.2.2 first release and get the error below. One other thing I noticed is that various "standard..." folders under modules no longer appear in the upgrade files. Should these be deleted from the server?
Something went wrong
Unexpected error: Class StandardPageEngine contains 4 abstract methods and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (IPageEngine::setPageMode, IPageEngine::setIncludeMode, IPageEngine::isPageMode, ...) in StandardPageEngine.php on line 33
After uploading the 1.0.5 backlight update, the site stopped working and I get the following. after going to backlight, I got several lines of messages "updating databases", etc. and cleared the cache. going to the site it was not working and I got
the mhayes.us page is not working,
mhayes.us is not able to handle this request
HTTP error 500
To make sure it was not an obvious upload error, I had the site restored and carefully related the upgrade and had the same problem. I have installed each if the incremental upgrades so believe I understand the basic process. One other thing: During the upload, I received several messages such as "Could not delete AThemeEngine.php. No such file or directory"
I have restored back to 1.0.4 and am looking for suggestions. I also have Theater installed
Thanks.
I have installed Theater and created an album template for videos that is set to:presentation type=video, video source=include h.264....
When I try to add mp4 videos to the LR album I get the message "this publish service does not support video". How do I add MP4 videos?
Editing .htaccess the root manually solved the problem. What is being edited from the web login. I could not see where that file is. It would be good to add the info about multiple files with pages to the info page if it is not already there
Thanks
I made the changes specified to .htaccess and updated the album files. Still getting the error. i uploaded a gallery and it displays correctly if I browse to galleries.
