Clearing template cache seems to be needed with some aspects of Theater settings. Same with Galleria. I've not figured out which settings need a follow up template cache clearing.

Yes, it seems I need to always clear after changing any Presentation settings. Not so bad, now that I know, but at first it really threw me for a loop when I made changes that seemed to have no effect...

If you're trying to see it embedded on the Home page, then you'll need to clear the cache. Better to view the actual album while designing.
