I think I just changed it but it made no difference. Have no idea what the difference is between title and products. If I change the name field, it changes the title, then the name reverts to admin. Both product and title are now "prints"
I'm really confused since it worked once (shipping was wrong) and I think I only dabbled with the shipping numbers and it no longer worked.
I unchecked "mixed pricing" from the gallery template and reuploaded the gallery. No change. The guest pw is now back to default.
Thanks for trying to figure it out. I changed that setting and the template name in ttg cart admin to use the revised template.
I tried it with a top level album (Luke AFB) as well as a couple of albums within an album set (Rt 66 AZ and KS) just in case...
Thanks Rod
I believe that the guest login is the default.
A gallery would be http://caddinfo.com/photo-now/galleries … 66-arizona

I finally got my cart to work ONCE. I went back to ttg-be Cart Setup and tried to correct a shipping pricing error (no matter what I did, it doubled my shipping price). Now all I get is no products available for purchase, so I am dead in the water. I have no idea what happened. It seems that all of the details for setting up Cart are not complete yet, so I have been trying every combination I can think of. The diagnostics page comes up all green.
I know that I am not providing much info here, but I don't have any idea what to try to provide. My pricing scheme is named "prints" and as I said, I got the order dialog one time, then nothing. I've been changing parameters for 2 hours now and cannot get anywhere. What do I need to provide to get back to square one?
Just a quick note. I have had this issue with CE3 on GoDaddy's older servers and am in the process of moving to cPanel with CE4. I still have the error if I try to publish more than 20 or so non-hi res photos. As noted. waiting a minute or two and all is fine. It is as if the server locks me out, since attempting to edit an Album or Album set also fails during this minute or so after the error.
I thought that I had located the same error in a web search that was a Windows issue with a bad connection to the net. Since it is reproducible, it doesn't seem to be a random "bad connection."
I have installed cart on my server, set it up in ttg-be, checked Pages and my gallery templates to Shopping Cart Integration, inserted the correct path to cart. Display Add-to-Cart Buttons on Grid is checked in my gallery template.
The preview in Lightroom shows the cart icon on each image in my gallery. The status bar is also shown. I am using Highslide for the gallery. On the web, the cart icon is not displayed.
Any suggestions?

Thanks! I think I have solved the issue... I posted a welcome message to the blog, then in addition to clicking on the title or the comments link, I added a post comment button which has the same link as the title or comments link. That seems to work.
When I set up a page to show only posts (not a static page) there is no way for anyone to post anything. Here is the page:

When I log in as admin, a menu appears at the top with a + item to add new posts. The general user sees nothing. That is what I am trying to accomplish - allowing a user to post something.
I really just wanted it as a Q&A forum. So my best bet is just to not use a static page... but is it possible to provide some instructions on the page? Or am I the only one that doesn't know how to use a blog!
I am trying to set up a WordPress blog using CE4 WordPress Plugin, Pages, Publisher, etc. I have installed WordPress in the blog folder of my site. I have created a basic WordPress template in Lightroom. I have hacked the info from my other templates into this WordPress template and uploaded and activated it.
I was hoping to design a very simple blog from within TTG/Lightroom, but there is no place to enter text or any other customization.
All I want is a simple introductory paragraph on the page followed by the posts. I couldn't figure out how to do it from any documentation that I could find. I could create a static front page with a button that took me to a Blog page located at blog/blog. I can see a post, but there is no box to add additional posts.
I tried to recreate my TTG menu and replace "Blog" with something like "Comments," but my navigation pane is centered and I was unable to center the WordPress menu that appears in the Navigation block (if I select that option). That's why I created the button for posts (noted above).
When logged in as the administrator, I see a black menu bar at the top of the browser screen that allows me to add a post. When I log out of admin, the bar is gone, so that a general visitor has no way to add a post. If one clicks the # of comments link at the end of the one post that is showing, it brings up the posting box, but that is pretty obtuse and does not allow for a post that is not related to the one that is visible.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
I am lost here. Things seem to work, then I make a minor change (like add a thumbnail) and then I get 404 errors. Here's the situation. I have a "Clubs" menu item which is an autoindex. My folder structure is
blog
cart
...
clubs
autoindex club 1
gallery club 1
...
fragments
galleries
gallery 1
autoindex 1
gallery 2
...
...
ttg-be
My site root is defined as http://mysite.com/photo-now/
The TTG files are all under the photo-now folder
I am using Publisher
All links from the menus in Pages work correctly. However, when I select "Clubs" I can no longer navigate back to "Clubs" from a gallery. I am able to get to any "Pages" page. Under (Pages) navigation for clubs, I have the target as /clubs/
In my autoindices and galleries for the various clubs photos I have tried every combination for the target for Clubs that I can think of. I have used clubs with no leading slash, /clubs/, http://mysite.com/photo-now/clubs, etc. Regardless of what I put there, the target becomes http:/mysite.com/photo-now/name of gallery/clubs or http://mysite.com/clubs without the required "photo-now" level.
I am totally unable to get the Clubs menu item to function. It worked earlier today. All I changed were some thumbnails and text.
It would be really helpful to have a concise definition of what the target path definitions are in relation to the site root (in Pages as well as in other modules). I am also lost in trying to embed images in my text. It doesn't seem to be consistent as to where it is looking for the images. I ended up including the entire URL to the images to make it work. Otherwise, it seems to look in random places (based on looking at the URL for the blank image space). Before the upgrade to the latest publisher (220b), gallery (614a), and ttg-be (203), using "/clubs/" in my target seemed to work. However, I was unable to edit albums or album sets. Now I can edit them, but the behavior seems to be erratic.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
EDIT: Solved it. Since I have multiple sub-domains on my hosting site, my root path for the TTG site is
I have defined the site root as http://mysite.com/photo-now/ I had assumed that everything would be relative to that folder. That seems to be the case for Pages pages, but my Clubs pages do not seem to abide by that definition. By defining the target to be
/photo-now/clubs
everything appears to be working now.
Ben
After all of the upgrades to Publisher and the other modules, I created a new Album Set and Album and they seem to be working. I now need to clean up the unused autoindices and galleries and make sure that everything still works.
I'll update this as I progress.

Ben - I just sent access info and some screen shots...
Thanks

Here is a semi-related issue. I don't know if this is a Lightroom issue or a TTG issue. Since I have been recreating new versions of my album, every time I get ready to create it, Lightroom changes the order of the images to "capture time" after I have painstakingly arranged them in a "custom order." This seems to happen only when I am using publish, not with regular library work in LR.
I am also still getting the errors that I am trying to change the name and that I cannot update the gallery. Here are the error messages:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9Xvop … sp=sharing
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9Xvop … sp=sharing
I have updated ttg-be, and publisher, and gallery; logged into ttg-be, exited and restarted LR several times.
It had been working. Now I am stuck. I cannot create any new galleries or even open the gallery info in publish without breaking it.
Thanks
A little history: I created a gallery, posted it using publish. All was fine. This was in an album set. I needed to change the descriptive copy. I edited the album in publish, changed the text. Would not allow me to update. I may have inadvertently clicked on the album title but did not change it. I then recreated a new album in the same set. I was unable to edit or publish it. I am afraid to touch any of my other albums for fear of corrupting them as well. So at this point I am dead in the water.
I created an album. It appeared to be working. I needed to change the text in the page copy block (edit in publisher). I changed the text and was unable to save it... I get the error message posted here.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9Xvop … sp=sharing
I inadvertently had clicked on the Album Title and Publisher now thinks I changed the name it appears. Nothing has changed except the page copy block text. I tried eliminating the text, but get nowhere. Is there any way to recover from this error without recreating the entire album?
EDIT:
I just recreated the album with a different name and cannot publish it to the server. I get the following error.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9Xvop … sp=sharing
If I try to edit this new album, I get the cannot rename published album error.
Now I am stumped. I hope that all of the work that I have put into recreating my CE4 website has not been lost. I am afraid to touch any other album in Publisher for fear that I will destroy it somehow by opening it.
Even without the masonry layout, the ability to add borders and shadows to an autoindex page would be nice.
Got it (embedded images). I'll read the stuff on the thumbnails tonight!
Thanks
-Herschel
Hi Rod
Didn't see your reply... please see the question at the end of my previous note.
I've added an album set as you suggested. It seems to be working. Now I need to clean it up with better thumbnails, etc. Is there any way to enhance the appearance of the autogenerated thumbnails in the indices? <<<< Got it !!!
Thanks
-Herschel
Thanks for the note... I've been playing around with the organization. Here's where I stand.
First, since I am using the "clubs" folder rather than "galleries," do I need a "Clubs" Album Set? That would give me
PUBLISHER (pointing to the /clubs/ folder)
Clubs
autoindex1
gallery1
Now for the issue. At the moment, I have the structure noted above. When I select "Clubs" from the main menu, I get 3 entries:
Arizona Z Series, Clubs, Titan Museum. There should be only 1, since as far as I know, that is all that is on the server.
If I select "Arizona Z Series," I get the autoindex page for the Arizona Z Series. It shows the Titan Gallery but the gallery is missing.
If I select "Clubs," I get the Arizona Z Series autoindex with the gallery which works.
If I select "Titan Museum," I get the gallery page but no images.
I had expected to only see Arizona Z Series autoindex when I selected Clubs, and then the gallery when I selected Titan Museum.
I think I am closer, but not there yet. Have I corrupted some files on the server with all of my uploads and publishing?
Thanks,
-Herschel
EDIT: I'm getting closer... found some autoindices and galleries that publisher didn't remove from server. Working on them now.
EDIT 2: I got it! Somehow one of my autoindex sets became a gallery. I fixed it and it seems to be working.
One more question right now: If I embed an image in the description, how do I designate the location of the image? In CE3 I put it in photos... src="photos/image.jpg" The server can't find it... I've put a copy in several "photos" directories to no avail.
Thanks again!
-Herschel
Still having issues. I must be totally missing some concept here...
Here is my directory structure at my host server:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9Xvop … sp=sharing
I was seeing 2 "albums" on my Clubs page. One pointed to a non-existant gallery (it should have been an autoindex) and the other pointed to the "titan" gallery. I messed around and now get errors whenever I try to edit the titan gallery and the images are all missing (just a stack of frames).
Error: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9Xvop … sp=sharing
I thought I knew what I was doing now, but everything I try makes it worse. Just need to get this hierarchy thing working then I should be OK. Also not sure why it thinks that there are 2 entities at the Clubs level, rather than one autoindex and one gallery below it.
Trying not to be too stupid. Thanks
-Herschel
Here I go again... I'm still having trouble with my hierarchical structure. Here is what I am trying to do:
galleries
gallery1
gallery2
autoindex1
gallery3
...
clubs
autoindex-clubs1
gallery-clubs1
gallery-clubs2
autoindex-clubs2
gallery-clubs3
etc
The basic "Pages" portion of the site seems to be working. I have not loaded anything into "galleries" yet.
I created an autoindex and named it "clubs" and uploaded it to the root level (same level as "galleries"). I created autoindex-clubs1 and gallery-clubs1. I used my "clubs" instance of Publisher to upload gallery-clubs1.
When I test the site and select "Clubs," I get the correct Clubs autoindex page. However, the thumbnail (and album description) point to gallery-clubs1 rather than autoindex-clubs1. The gallery-clubs1 page is missing the Page Copy text below the Navigation Container (it shows in Lightroom). All I see is the path (clubs/gallery-clubs1). I have the Page Copy entered into the Gallery as well as the Publisher instance for that gallery.
I presume that I have loaded autoindex and gallery files into the wrong places. Is there some documentation that describes the folder structure for a hierarchical arrangement like mine? And I have no idea why the Page Copy does not show in gallery-clubs1.
It seemed easier in CE3. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Herschel
Thanks rod
I'll work on that this evening... I thought that I was making it too complicated. I'll probably have more questions, but this is a good start - this is stirring up old memories of setting up CE3.
-Herschel
I am not sure if I need to do this, but...
I am moving from CE3 to CE4. I have recreated my "Pages," and set up two instances of "Publisher." (I have replaced the "Services" menu item in Pages with "Clubs" and created a "clubs" folder at the same level as "galleries" - the same structure I used in CE3.) The basic navigation appears to work. My overall data structure is:
...
clubs
gallery clubs 1
...
galleries
autoindex gallery 1
autoindex gallery 2
etc
My intent was to make "gallery clubs 1" (and subsequent ones) autoindex galleries. I created a standard gallery instead. I attempted to use the "hack" and copy the style section of the gallery that I created into a new autoindex template, but my photos were not displayed as they are in the regular gallery that I created initially.
Two questions...
(1) If I have numerous galleries within my "galleries" and "clubs" folders, I assume that I should set each up as am autoindex. True?
(2) If (1) is true, is there any way to copy the gallery setup from a gallery to an autoindex?
Am I making this too complicated?
What I am trying to do is have a "galleries" folder containing several galleries, and a "clubs" folder containing several galleries. I would like the "Galleries" page to automatically reflect the galleries that I load into subfolders under "galleries" and the same for the "Clubs" page.
My CE3 website (blog and cart are not functional) is www.photographs-now.com and my temporary domain for the CE4 website is www.rt-66.com.
Any assistance would be appreciated. It's been a couple of years since I created the CE3 website and am still learning the CE4 dialogs.

Rod
I'm testing CE2 Cart (in test mode right now) using the rest of the CE2 modules... will the other CE3 modules mess up my testing?
