In templates I have 4 templates defined under pages
PLP-pangolin-test (Indexed, default)
Backlight Standard (not indexed)
PLP Std pg
PLP-pangolin-homepage
When I go to designer > Pages and try to design a page such as HOME
the drop down box for selecting the page template only the 2 standard pages, not either of the Pangolin page templates.
i.e. I only have a choice of Backlight Standard or PLP Std pg.
I am trying to put Theater in my home page.
Should I build a theater home page, or a std backlight page and insert a theater album?
And now it seems to work.... not related to clear cache templates, or browser cache....
hum...
I set aside the day to upgrade
so finished the upgrade from CE4 to Backlight, and that went fairly well. Missing borders on nav bar, but other than that seemed OK
Then tried to get theater installed....
The album type field was fixed, and not selectable, so I figure that I had not done an upgrade correctly. So I went back and did a re install of prior releases to see if that fixed the issue. (it didn't).
but it did introduce the following bug
Something went wrong
Unable to find file at /backlight/modules/tmp-standard-page/TmpStandardPageEngine.php.
Have you removed the tmp-standard-page module? If so, either copy the module back, or change the template used by this album. in EngineFactory.php on line 330

Thanks ahead of time for the help
A quick check shows that Parsedown is part of BL 122 release 3
Thanks
How would you suggest I deal with, just delete the module, or is there a cleaner way to remove?
Well, a little premature....

Moving to PHP 7 seems to have solved the issue.
Thanks,
:-)
Oh, and does this mean that I need to use the phpLite interface, if so, I'll need the password.
Thanks,
:-)
The mismatched API is the original error,
I get Unexpected error: PHP Startup: uploadprogress: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with module API=20131226 PHP compiled with module API=20151012 These options need to match in Unknown on line 0
as well
I like the email domain, spoken like a true support person. Problem is, I have no idea what changed.
The php 7.0, are you saying install that in my personal space, or are you saying I should have Bluehost upgrade theirs?
Also, given that the modules are actually there and that BL isn't finding them, is there a way to cause BL to try and re find them?
Thanks,
:-)
Well, lets just say that the Bluehost solution did not work
I went from having the mismatched API issue to BH ugrading php from 5.4 to 5.6 and then got this error.
Unable to find the SQLite module. Backlight requires the PDO, SQLite and XML modules. Make sure that these modules are installed and enabled.
Yet domain/backlight works and I listed out the php modules and all of them are there.
when looking in /backlight
I get Unexpected error: PHP Startup: uploadprogress: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with module API=20131226 PHP compiled with module API=20151012 These options need to match in Unknown on line 0
as well
Unexpected error: PHP Startup: uploadprogress: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with module API=20131226 PHP compiled with module API=20151012 These options need to match in Unknown on line 0
Not sure what to make of this, it worked yesterday. I haven't made changes to the environment (not sure about Bluehost).
Any insight would be appreciated.

on the home page
I try adding an album on the home page with designer, but it can't find any albums....
Thanks for the guidance !

I was out of touch for 3 weeks, and when returning I found my site had crashed with the following error.
PatrickLynchPhotography.com
Does anyone have any idea on what happened?
Thanks,

Since the crash, am now doing all that you suggested.
I also have catalog backups from before the crash, but did not have it configured to save presets to catalog.
It has taken weeks to get the system rebuilt. The photos and .xmp files were stored on a NAS raid server so I didn't lose the photos.
However, I have lost nearly all of the TTG environment.
I have the exported files from the web module that are on the hosted web server.
Is there anyway to use these to create the templates that were lost?
With either Gallery or Stage?
If so, what needs to be done? I vaguely recall Mat addressing this a couple of years ago....
Thanks,
:-)
Bingo, that was it !
Mat,
I suggest adding some additional material in documentation for Search that addresses setting up search when using publisher.
Thanks
:-)
Yes,
I do have Publisher for my home pages (a very nice feature by the way!),
Checking on the gallery template (Stage) for items.
Thanks,
:-)
Mat,
Thanks for the clarification on CE4 not generating a search.php from Pages.
1) in Pages I specify Search as a new menu item. For each of the pages generated, except the Home page, Pages adds the new menu item. But, on the Home page, it does not generate the menu item.
2) I have added Search as a menu item in the gallery template, and that seems to work fine.
3) Favicon is not generated for the Home page, but is generated correctly for the other pages by by CE4-Pages.
How can I narrow the problem down, whether it is configuration issue on my side, or bug.
Thanks,
:-)
OK,
1) added a gallery without slide show
2) Although SEARCH shows up in the menu in LR in the web module, there is no search.php file generated on export of the PAGES template..
3) Search and Favicon both appear on pages other than home page, but not on the home page.
4) I do have PHPluggins enabled, but that is all that I do (I also have it configured so that all instances are shared), but I don't have anything using PHPluggins unless PAGES does it behind the scenes (other than converting it to .php rather than .html)
Looking forward to more thoughts,
Thanks,
:-)
Happy to mail you the template if you want to look at it.
:-)
Thanks,
I will look into the issues. :-)
I am surprised by the export comment, having done it many times over the years and many times on this one.
in LR I update the template with current settings, export it (with permission to over write), FTP contents up. Already moved the search folder from publisher to public_html to the root.
I am using PHPlugins, but I'm not using any features from it (I was going to do bread crumbs, but you already support that).
I will try the suggestions and see if I can narrow down the issue.
Thanks, :-)
