I've refreshed, cleared cache, still showing three of the "test" albums as well as a duplicate of the same one. Very strange.
Thanks for not writing, "This might be a stupid question" this time. I was looking in the wrong area. Stupid, stupid, stupid. It's up and working...thanks.
One other question, when i was creating my CRG template i kept upping test pages. I deleted the albums in lightroom and they are no longer on the server, however they are still appearing in the "assign album to client" section. How can i get rid of them from that area?
OK, so i'm not exactly sure where to put the template. I thought i'd just use the same template i used for the CRG, but i don't know where to put it. Under the i (information button) in the CRG BE it says to upload into a new directory under cart/templates/ Since that didn't exist on my server, i created it and put the template i used for CRG in it, but nothing pops up in the drop down menu in BE.
I'm tempted to just use yours. Do I have to put the login fields in or is that generated automatically?
So you need CE4 Gallery to make this happen? I don't have that.
Wondering if there is a way to brand the login page that clients see before they log in. I'd like to have this page branded with my logo etc. Is this possible?
Is there a way to save settings when creating a new album? Kind of like a default setting? There are a lot of settings that are the same and it would save time not to have to go through all the different options when creating a new album.
Don't think there's any way to do this but maybe i'm missing something.
So, that was it. I changed a whole bunch of things to {filename} instead and now it appears. It appears on the top and the bottom of the large images so I'll need to figure out what's going on there, but at any rate that was it.
Just goes to show there are no stupid questions, only stupid people
BTW, checked out your website Rod...nice work!
Cheers
Ha, not a stupid question at all. Yup, it's blank. I use filename instead. I'll give that a try. Still strange that I can see it properly in the template when there is one picture. I'll let you know.
Still nothing. Used new template, new folder, still na-da.
When you changed settings in Lightroom and exported, did you overwrite the existing export? Or did you create a new one? The template that you're using is named proofing_new.
Yes, i created a new template called profiling new and used that. I deleted the old client page via my ftp client and published the new one in it's place, completely fresh. I don't understand why there's no data in the metadata1. I've checked both and and made sure that they are in the output settings.
I'm just a little frustrated. I've spent two days on this and can't really afford to spend more. I've got the look i want, but just can't get it to work properly.
Got the watermarking to work, but still no titles.

Should i just call it a day and say forget about Publisher? I updated to CE4 for the functionality of clients being able to save their feedback, from day to day, but at this point...
Here's what the template looks like: http://svphoto.ca/ttg-be/templates/gallery/proofing/
Watermark is there as are titles. Obviously this is a publisher issue, but what?
It's a new album. Here's the link: http://svphoto.ca/proofs/2014060501/

Also just noticed the watermarking is not there, despite it being in the template and seeing it in the web module preview window. In publisher it's set as managed by lightroom.
Yes, Metadata 1 is set as {Title} and Metatdata 2 {Caption} but it's always been like that.
I've finally finished creating my templates and this is the first gallery that isn't a test.
I have checked image captions and titles in image info. They appear in both the thumbnail and the large version in the preview pane, but when the template is used through publisher, the titles are not in either location on the web page for the album.
Just wondering if there would be a way to add the slug or some more identifiable feature than just the album name when assigning albums to a client in the CRG back end. I name albums by first name and the template takes care of the rest for page name, but if I shoot two people with the same name...you can see the problem I'll have when assigning albums to clients.
Yup, that was it. Thanks Rod!
All my meta data goes properly through publisher with the exception of one. I have {Focal Length}, {Exposure} in Output Settings>Publisher Settings. This matches the meta data under image info. There aren't as many options in the drop down menus, so I've needed to create my own to match. Like i said, this is the only one that doesn't work as it comes as blank when viewed on line...the heading is there, but not the information. Any ideas why?
Thanks rod, I guess I'll just leave it as is. It's getting beyond my realm. I didn't post a link to the gallery because every time I change the template the gallery changes too. I've been doing so much tweaking that I don't even know what version had that problem. I suspect that it might have been an error on my end in that I didn't update the template before changing and trying the download part through publisher.
Thanks for all your help. I'm loving it so far...once I get over the headache of setting it up it'll be smooth sailing.
Yes. It was checked and the width and height were set to 5000px. at any rate tried it again and though I can't download the pix I can see that they are now the correct size. Thanks.
As for the status bar...So you wouldn't recommend changing the css that is there? I tried changing the width of it to 960px on line 2217 of the style.css in ttg-be/crg/lib/css but it had no effect.
I used publisher. It puts them in the photos directory. That's fine. But the size of the files are not what they are in Lightroom. They are being constrained to the dimensions denoted above. And even when using publisjer it still picks up the album I denoted in appearance settings. So when I click the download icon, it doesn't exist because it is pointing to a different path. I feel this is a glitch, but what do I know. Now worries, I will use publisher but I'll still manually put the files in the folder like I used to.
I do have another question. Is there any way to fix the width of the status bar? I've set everything else at 960 pix, but on larger displays, the status bar extends the width of the window, making the icons so far to the right.
when using publisher to create downloadable image renditions, the files are being set at 720 pixels as opposed to the 5000 I designated in the CRG develop module. They seem to be constrained by the image renditions settings, but the max size there is 2880 anyway, so they don't match up. Also, a minor thing, I changed the image location for in the image download section of appearance, but it defaults to photos regardless.
