#51 CE4 Cart » Multiple URLs » 2015-06-22 08:40:17

Hey, was wondering if it's possible to have multiple gallery pages tied to the same cart.  So i'd have one gallery/page for one type of pictures, one for another, and so on.  Each one would be linked to each other via the page content.  Essentially, what I'm wondering would there be one cart for this, and one resulting download link, or would the client need to do seperate transactions for each page?

#52 Re: CE4 Cart » Setting Up the Cart » 2015-06-07 12:07:24

Right.  I set it up that way...i guess because there's no way to log out, it always logs me in as admin?  That's why i never see the login page?  Anyway, thanks for all your help.

#53 Re: CE4 Cart » Setting Up the Cart » 2015-06-07 01:25:51

Stupid mistake...would only help people like me.  In the address to the cart i mispelled the address...svphogo.  So it was looking there for the cart stuff.  Alright, so that works and i figured out the pricing for the different items (thanks for the link).

Is there a way to put a free icon on the pictures that have no charge.  Probably not, but just curious.  I guess i can just write it in the main description on the page.

Is it possible to set up a password to the gallery.  Not one associated with an email becuase i`d like whoever has the link to be able to access the page.

That`s it for now.  I`m sure there will be a few little tweaks here and there.

OK, figured it out. Kept seeing something saying a mispelling of the web page when loading.  Found the spot.  Fixing it now.  Hopefully that should work.  Then i'll soon run into the next hurdle i know this to be true.

Yes, it's only downloads.  I've set it up in the template that way, but i would just prefer to place the files there myself if i can.  Is that the reason I can't see the cart?

#56 Re: CE4 Cart » Setting Up the Cart » 2015-06-07 00:10:12

Guest access enabled.  I renamed the pricing scheme to default.

Alright, to tackle the cart problem first.  It is still greyed out.  What's the problem?  I did all of the above.  Must be something else i'm missing.

The cart is greyed out.  What am i doing wrong?

#59 Re: CE4 Cart » Setting Up the Cart » 2015-06-06 22:43:51

never mind.  The link doesn't work but i think i figured it out.  Can't figure out the pricing though.  I want to have a set price for download and then offer some free.  How to i designate those?

Hi, just purchased and setting up the cart.  In the online documentation, I can't access the page "Creating a Cart Enabled Gallery" http://ce3wiki.theturninggate.net/doku. … ed_gallery

I'm just trying to figure out how to publish this.  Does it go through Publisher, or am i exporting and using ftp to up?

#61 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Albums appearing and disappearing » 2015-04-26 21:08:25

I did use publisher to delete the albums.  Always do.  But those albums are still there.  Ben was going to go in the backend to delete them for me but they are still there.

#62 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Albums appearing and disappearing » 2015-04-26 13:48:25

Looks like somehow these two albums were linked.  I thought i'd delete one of them and recreate it.  When i deleted one, they were both missing from the assign album page and i could no longer update the existing from lightroom.  So deleted that one as well and recreated both and now they both appear.  And yes, the slugs for both those albus were unique.  Very strange indeed.

#63 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Albums appearing and disappearing » 2015-04-26 13:06:09

BTW, the albums that were supposed to have been deleted are still appearing in my assign to clients page.  This thread (http://community.theturninggate.net/top … ogin-page/) near the bottom has the details.  Obviously something wonky is going on.

Alright, so i've used publisher to create seven albums today.  Only six appear when i'm assigning albums to clients.  When i republish the missing album under another name, it appears only to have one of the other albums disappear and the clients that were assigned to the original album (that has since disappeared) have been reassigned to the new album that has appeared.  Very confusing and frustrating.  I have tried to close down the browser, but it doesn't help.  What's going on?

Too bad.  I don't have gallery.  Thanks.

I'm wondering if there is a way to remove or hide the status bar.  I use CRG as the download page after clients have selected their pictures.  But the status bar remains despite "enable image selection" and "enable feedback features" being unselected.  Is this doable?

OK, so i don't have Cart yet, but just wanted to ask a question to see if this is even possible.

I would like to have a password protected gallery, but multiple people would be able to access this gallery.  In other words, the password would allow guest access, and not be affiliated with an email address.  It's for a graduation so approsimately 100 people would need access.  Then guests would be able to purchase images for download.  So for example, user1 purchases image1 and image2.  I'm assuming, once the payment has been processed they would be able to download the images immediately. If user2 would want those same two images, they would still be required to pay for them, correct?  Just not sure how the back end works.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Ben, no they are not on my server.  That's the first thing i checked.  Yes, please remove them.  I'm assuming there's nothing I can do on my end.

#71 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Branding Login Page » 2015-03-21 22:19:17

No, i immediately deleted the default album.  I did repopulate a new album with the same name immediately after deleting the first one and repopulated it with the same pictures.

The deleted albums should be: "Katherine" and "Katherine Headshots Downloadable Photo Gallery"

#72 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Branding Login Page » 2015-03-21 11:37:40

When i deleted the album, i selected delete.  As mentioned I can see that the albums are deleted from the server.  Also strange that there is a duplicate of the same album.

#73 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Copy Feedback Profile & Customize Message After Sending Feedback » 2015-03-21 07:10:36

Hi Rod, I don't see anything in that area to customize  the message after they have sent their feedback.  Perhaps I'm just missing it, I'll have another look.

I have two more questions...

1.  Is it possible, someway, somehow, to duplicate a feedback profile?  I would like to make a couple different ones but the bulk of the information would remain the same.  Not that big a deal, but would make it faster and that's what this is all about.

2.  Is there a way to customize the message clients see after they have sent their feedback?

#75 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Branding Login Page » 2015-03-21 05:23:24

I tried restarting the browser and i tried it through safari on my phone, and still the deleted galleries remain.  Please Ben, have a look at my back end.
