Daniel,
Did you get a chance to look at being able to get a Masthead/Text back to the top of the page?
I am not sure why changing the masthead location to 'Header' causes the button to move to the to of the screen, but in that mode I get my masthead info. But in the 'main column' location move the button but loses the masthead info.
Thanks,
Jack
Daniel,
Here is an update.
I changed the Masthead location from ‘Header’ to ‘Main Column” in the Backlight Template.
That moved the ‘Enter’ box to the bottom and now it works on all devices.
But I lost the “PHOTOS BY JACK” text across the top.
I would think that could be added back with CSS?
I would like to add it as now you get to the site and no name appears.
Any suggestion or help.

Thanks again,
Jack
Daniel,
Sent to your email on your web site.
Jack
Daniel,
Button on bottom, but not clickable.
Text writing on top of screen.
Controls were activated and are now showing on left side, but I have them set for right side.
Jack
Daniel,
On, but I don't see them. The 'enter' link works, but the button is just way top right. It looks the same for me in Chrome and Safari.
Jack
BTW I am using the identity plate to have my "Photos By Jack" show up.
Jack
Daniel,
Again I am sorry, but I didn't see it the first time I looked for it.
I pasted it in and it is there and works!!!!! Fantastic.
Now on the desktop it is on the top right and almost off the top of the screen. Top border not showing. On iPad same as desktop. iPhone had the full box displayed but again upper right. How can move it to right bottom?

Jack
Daniel,
Sorry but I don't know where tagline is
Jack.
Daniel,
I assume you mean in the 'Album Copy' 'Main Copy' on my Theater template that is used for the home page.
If so, I tried your suggestion and it did nothing.
Jack
Daniel,
I don't want to hide the hamburger icon per se.
I really want an 'enter' button that takes me from my full screen homepage to my galleries page. Like I had in Stage.
The problem I have is I do not know CSS, PHP, etc.
I was able to the stuff I wanted with the CE4 plugins without having to know and coding stuff. Backlight is way better and I am trying to get the test website to look and function that way I want before I migrate.
Both you and Rod have helped me a lot in this effort and I really appreciate the help. Wish I understood CSS, etc.
Jack
Rod,
The minimum Backlight will let me set is 992. I set it at that.
I would think the iPhone 6 on landscape would display the nav bar. But it doesn't.
Unless I am missing something else.
Jack
Rod,
That worked for the desktop. Thanks a bunch.
It raises another question. I guess on an iPhone I will always get the hamburger icon as the breakpoint minimum is still larger than the screen width. I noticed on my iPad I get the bar on landscape, but icon on portrait.
Is that correct?
I really hoping too have an on screen 'enter' button to show all the times on any device.
Thanks,
Jack
Rod,
In my many attempts to make this work I had that set to Desktop.
Just tried it again. Does not work. I followed Matt's guide too set up this page in the Theater docs.
Jack
Rod,
My home page is a one column template. I can't get the menu bar to show like yours and get rid of the hamburger icon.
Jack
My CE4 home page is a Stage full screen slideshow. It has an "Enter" button on the lower right corner of the screen that takes me to the galleries page. That was configurable in Lightroom with Stage.
In my Backlight test area, I am using a Theater full screen page with Vegas FS for my home page.
www.stuffbyjack.com/backlighttest
I would like to have an "Enter" button on the Backlight home page linked to the galleries page, like Stage did. Ideally matching the same 'look' (background color opacity, color, etc.) as the one on the Stage button.
I think it can be coded, but i do not know how to do that, assuming it can be done.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jack
Rod,
Your explanation came in as I was typing my response.
Thanks,
Jack
Rod,
I looked at the Lightroom Publisher settings and the "Replace copy on template" was selected for the Page Copy. Changed it to "above existing page copy". Now the Backlight Theater template button addition seem to be working for all videos.
Not al all intuitive as CE4 was.But it looks like for now I am good.
Hopefully Breadcrumbs gets enabled in the Theater template and this will go away.
Daniel and Rob, thanks again for all your help.
Jack
Daniel,
I got the button to show and work when I used the Lightroom method. For that album.
Rod,
The Theater album template only has "Album Copy" and nothing I put in there will show up on the screen with the video in it.
I apologize but I am not a 'coder' and just paste and copied your commands. So i am not sure exactly what this is doing. I would think I could have a button on every Theater screen and would not have to add it on every Lightroom album creation.
Jack
Daniel,
I am not sure where to add this. I would think the Theater template? But there is no "Page Copy" section on that template.
Anyway when I tried it there, and on a Page template, nothing happened anywhere.
I am not sure what I am looking for.
Thanks,
Jack
Daniel,
Correct the breadcrumbs do not show up.
I tried your fix. But the "../" takes me back to my main web address (not even to the Backlight test area). Rather then one level up.
Jack
Daniel,
Thanks for the help with the hiding of the album.
It worked fine.
I only have the back button, or how to have the breadcrumbs show, on the video screen to resolve.
Thanks again,
Jack
Rod,
Thanks for the help on the sort order. All is good now.
Regarding the 'back' button. I used a "../" in the navigation settings in CE4 Stage. I am not sure how to do that in Backlight on all the web page that has the YouTube video in it.
Another item. I set up a Theater full screen album and page as my landing page. I intend to make it my home page. But for now the album that contains the actual images also shows up on the galleries page. Can I hide that album somehow, as it is only my landing screen and I don't want/need people to go to it.

Thanks,
Jack
I have downloaded and I am testing the Theater add-in.
2 Questions (so far).
1. In CE4 Stage I had a 'back" button (link) on the page that had the YouTube video in it to take me to the level above it. In Theater the breadcrumbs do not show up on the page that has the actual YouTube video on it. Can I duplicate that functionality?
2. The albums and album set show alphabetically on their screens. I have the albums/sets set up in Publisher with leading numbers (01, 02, etc) and the slugs are labeled that way and on my site via FileZilla they are in the order I want them to be. Backlight seems to ignore that order and goes alphabetic. Have I missed a setting somewhere, or can I change that behavior.
Thanks,
Jack
Rod,
I did a screen capture from my iPad from both sites. Stopping the videos around the same point. The track, and center of the table are the best place to see the difference. The camera a was on a tripod.
Link to screen capture files:

This is consistent with all my YouTube videos on my site using Stage.
Jack
Rod,
OK. I am not sure why I see a significant quality difference. I am not aware of any settings on the iPad I could make.
I have fast broadband, but as I indicated, the YouTube app on my iPad works fine.
Not sure what else I can try.
