I will admit that after CE4 and my dislike of the product I was not onboard purchasing Backlight. However I did jump in at the beginning and I must say I do like the product after working with it. It does require some additional coding and digging through the missing manual (sorry Matthew and Ben had to get that dig in) but with the help of the larger TTG community and my hunting and pecking at different options I think I have found what I'm looking for.
I don't have much setup yet in the way of images but I do have two top level galleries setup, the PWP gallery has mostly album sets with custom thumbnails (some need to be updated after the changes I made today) but the ASF gallery has some images so you can see the layout and style I'm using throughout the site.
I think this is a classier design that what I have had in the past and what I started out with designing in Backlight. It's still a work in progress but please take a look and let me know what you think. I need to say thank you to all of you who have posted tips on the forums and answered my numerous questions as I used a lot of the information found in those posts to get to this point.
Rod,
I figured it out by looking at your hooks example. I needed to move it to the header area and out of the nav area as tray 1 also has a nav hook and that is what was causing the issue.
Thank You
For those of us that do not use or like social media is there a way to disable/remove or hide the share button when viewing the images in the gallery. If not this should be an option or ability in future releases
So setting up a minimal site to do some testing , when I go to the site on my phone there are no menus.
If they are not installed why does it work on the test subdomain?
I have read the post about the Database module issue and have ran the http://youriste.com/ttg-be/admin/?info as Rod has suggested and they appear to be enabled. The bigger issue is that this seems to only happen when I try to install in my root (www) directory as I have a test setup in a subdomain working correctly.. I have been putting off upgrading as there are thing about the new version I don't like compared to version 3 and now I'm even more frustrated.

I started to finally swap over to the CE4 version from the CE3 version and decided that I'm going to drop the CE4 version as it has little to no control over over the album layout and icons in the CE4 version compared to the CE3 version unless I'm missing something.
1) I can somewhat understand the thumbnail size being in the output settings in CE4 instead of the appearance section of CE3 but it also took away all the option we had for formatting the icons/thumbnails. i.e. rounded corners as I like them to look like large buttons not squares.
2) No more rounded backgrounds for the albums either.
3) limited to 4 columns and aspect ratio instead of an actual size really? yes it can make the auto function work better but when limiting to 4 columns seems to be a waste and another example of less control.
4) Yes I can do everything in CSS but if I wanted to code everything I would not be using CE4/CE3
