#26 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Response only stored in browser » 2015-03-17 23:08:20

To clarify I'm trying to see the comments that one would make after clicking on the "pencil" icon and hitting"save"

#27 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Response only stored in browser » 2015-03-17 23:04:50

Update. I hit refresh and now I see that feedback has been entered but I don't see the actual feedback notes.

I've launched a CRG gallery via Publisher and I'm not seeing the responses/feedback in BE. They seem to be only stored on the browser

Sample Album http://jzphoto.com/clients/album_review/jillandmarcus

Login is guest/guest

One possible issue is that there is no Submit Feedback button (long story). I've asked clients to just email me when they are done making comments.

Works like a charm!

Feature request (as stated before)

Savable or sticky LR "Edit Album" feature.

TTTTHANK YYOOOU!!!! Love Publisher.

#30 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Setting Up Publisher for CRG4 » 2015-03-12 08:26:17

I just typed {Rating} in the meta field and it worked. Will this screw it up ?

For nesting I mean I want the gallery to reside on the server inside clients > google_headshots

I think your suggestion doesn't do this.

#31 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Setting Up Publisher for CRG4 » 2015-03-12 08:08:24

Ok this looks like the issue.

Is there no Rating option? I don't see it in Publisher Setup dropdown.

Other questions. I'd like to nest my galleries in jzphoto.com/clients/google_headshots
If I put in Top-level gallery directory "clients" it publishes okay but if I put clients/google_headshots it doesn't work

#32 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Setting Up Publisher for CRG4 » 2015-03-12 07:19:09

Not able to get Publisher to show image numbers below thumbnails or in slide show. Image numbers are shown when gallery is launched from LR Web.

LR Web: http://jzphoto.com/galleries/google-headshots/test1
LR Publisher: http://jzphoto.com/galleries/google-hea … tpublisher

Yes please. Sticky menu or savable presets in  Publisher's Edit Album would be great.

Also when hitting Submit in feedback there seems to be a long delay. Maybe just my server but if not it would be good to have this be faster. Clients seem to think it didn't work.

Other than that everything is working great.

Thanks to you both!

Josh

Just figured it out:

Integration needed to be Standalone

Is there a way to save Edit Album settings? I will be creating 20 of these per week.

#35 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Setting Up Publisher for CRG4 » 2015-03-07 09:24:37

So I enable feedback for this album.

When I click on link below I get sent to a login page but gallery Features > Enable Password is unchecked

#37 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Setting Up Publisher for CRG4 » 2015-03-06 12:20:09

Spoke too soon. Gallerie is missing selection circles etc... Nav. Is this set up in BE?

#38 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Setting Up Publisher for CRG4 » 2015-03-06 12:17:46

It worked! THANK YOU!!!!

Workflow question: I do about 20 headshots a week. I post an individual gallery for each one. My current folder structure is clients>headshots each headshot goes in there with the slug being first part of their email (long story) i.e. jdoe

How would you organize this in LR? Should I create an "Album Set" an put each person in there?

#39 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Setting Up Publisher for CRG4 » 2015-03-06 11:40:44

Also, exported my LR CRG4 template to my desktop so I can use it in Publisher. Where does this "aa_google_tg4.lrtemplate" go?

#40 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Setting Up Publisher for CRG4 » 2015-03-06 11:37:13

Ok. That worked. Now when hitting Publish LR warning says: Can't Updated Collection.... Message: Slug not provided... please delete album and create new album"

#41 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Setting Up Publisher for CRG4 » 2015-03-06 11:20:28

Also,

In LR Publisher Manager "authentication works but unable to find galleries"

When I try to publish from lightroom I get LR error:

"Can't update this collection......   Unable to find directory gallerie. Please create this directory and set permissions to 777"

I've put "galleries" in folder at domain/ttg-be/publisher/galleries and given 777 permission

#43 Re: CE4 Publisher » Authentification Check » 2015-03-03 09:44:02

Also,

I bought Publisher for my CRG galleries. Not sure how to upload galleries for CRG. Do I still do this in LR Web? I spent allot of time setting up the CRG Web template and this is how I'd like the galleries to work. I don't see anyway to control the template in the Publish mode

I get warning in LR
Authentication Check successful but
Unable to find the directory galleries
permission in galleries is set to 777 not sure why it can't be seen

#45 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Function request for "show only selected images" » 2015-03-03 08:14:16

Can you give a link to Publisher managed gallery that allows only selected images to be shown in slide show?

#46 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » How To Log In To Gallery » 2015-02-28 06:58:45

Ok. I think I got this to work.

Questions:

1) Is there a way to anchor the Form to the bottom of the gallery? It was this way in CRG3
2) Is there a way that clients can review only their selects? Slide show seems to run through ALL images in slide view (see gallery).

#47 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » How To Log In To Gallery » 2015-02-25 01:48:29

Regarding 1). Is 'mail' in BEE or LR module?

#48 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » How To Log In To Gallery » 2015-02-25 01:47:04

Ben (thanks)

1) What do you mean by trying the 'mail' account instead?

2)I'm using BlueHost. Pretty mainstream so I'd be surprised if that is an issue. MAybe I've set it up wrong?

One consideration: My WP website for www.jzphoto.com is nested inside my WP website www.joshuazuckerman.com on the same server/Bluehost acount. Might that effect the Form email?

#49 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » How To Log In To Gallery » 2015-02-21 04:32:20

1)Here is a no pasword gallery: http://www.jzphoto.com/clients/google_headshots/test1/
Issue is Feedback won't send has Warning Failure to send

#50 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » How To Log In To Gallery » 2015-02-21 02:31:04

1) All is looking good now except for the Feedback not sending
2) Client must sign in to have gallery feedback saved correct?
