I have done this with my wedding business and the commercial side, to good success. Now I'm trying to add events and use the cart feature.
I didn't reinstall backlight but I did reinstall the module-cart to ../equine/backlight/modules/
When I try to publish a photo to a new gallery It goes into the root "../galleries" not the subdirectory ../equine/galleries
They both have backlight folders in them.
I have tried to separate my three different markets by using sub-directories.
yes;
It was working for awhile yesterday, then in all my changes, i'm wondering if I need to re-point the program to the subdirectory? I had deleted the publisher for the galleries and when I went to recreate the album sets with the new subdirectory I lost the template "Cart" I'm only showing the backlight standard and theater. I used to have cart and not theater.
After several attempts and reorganizing my galleries, I now have a grayed out enable cart button on the integration tab. I also do not see cart template on the base settings. I've tried deleting the template and recreating a new one. reinstalling the cart module. Any suggestions?
Just realized it was putting the cart folder into the main directory. Moved it into my subdirectory and all is fine
I'm running Backlight and am trying to install the cart to a subdirectory of my main site. equine.hookephoto.com after copying over the 'module-cart' files I tried to click on the cart tab in my admin area and get this message - Paradox 404 You've found a page that does not exist.
The shopping cart is currently unavailable
Please contact the site owner for further assistance.
Is this not setting up the database? Should I create a page for the cart?
I'm on Godaddy (Linux) and don't see the MySQL database.
deleted the cart twice and reinstalled it. Tried to set up cart - templates.
Any suggestions would help tremendously.
Thanks in advance.

The image files are on my laptop in the same dir from which the albums were created? I've deleted the files and have added them back its working.
Thanks for the help.
Thom.
I'm having much the same trouble. upon updating my albums in lightrrom, I get the message;
CAN'T UPDATE THE Collection
The rendition could not be created. Please ensure that the original file name is accessible, especially when stored on external or network storage.
I have tried so many things i'm now lost. Including reinstalling Backlight.
It is happening to the galleries in my Album set See http://hookephoto.com/galleries/galleries/ only a couple of images will publish.

I'm having the same trouble. My Home, about and contact pages are giving me a 404 error. I know just enough web dev to get into trouble so a little help will be very much appreciated. I'm not sure where this [ .htaccess ] file should reside in the /backlight/admin/ file or just in the /backlight/ file?
