#26 Backlight 2 Support » Album Settings - Borders » 2019-02-17 22:51:05

In the  Album Settings > Thumbnail Grid > Gallery Style - Justified is it possible to have the borders larger than 24px. Also, have the top and bottom borders a different size ie; top and bottom 40px, sides 24px.

I can't seen to work out how to install the Page and Album template in the Galleries page, using the same templates as for the Home page

I'm sure its staring me in the face!

That certainly makes sense...will keep that in mind for the future.

#31 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Thumbnails size » 2019-02-05 00:54:18

Is there a way to keep the thumbnails at 400px irrespective of the size of the browser window?

#32 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Thumbnails size » 2019-02-05 00:49:18

I change the Album Template at 1140 to 3. When I resize the browser window I get three columns at 400px thumbnails, If I widen the browser page then the columns go back to six with smaller thumbnails.  No changes to the Page Template

#33 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Thumbnails size » 2019-02-05 00:39:10

That worked... I made 1140 3 columns but that leaves the browser window quite small. Should I change all all the columns to 3 above 1140 up to 1920

I'm with you...republishing now

#35 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Thumbnails size » 2019-02-05 00:05:27

Do you mean Page Template >Layout?

Does "Retina Thumbnails" need to be on ?

I have uploaded a Masonry gallery to my home page and increased the thumbnail size to 400px in the Album Templates > Image Renditions > Thumbnails, republished via Lightroom, and cleared the cache, however there's been no change to the thumbnail size.

I wish to build a new replacement website using BackLight 2, at the same keep my CE4 site operational until the replacement is ready.

Would using a sub domain be the best way to approach ie; backlight.davidbuddphotography.com and could I configure Publisher using a sub domain

Once the Backlight site is completed what would be the process to make it live using Bluehost.

Thanks

I have installed Backlight on my Bluehost server in a folder, public_html/newsite. http://davidbuddphotography.com/newsite. I then get the following message "Backlight is not yet configured. Please login to Backlight to continue. Clicking on that link brings "404 page not found".

The backlight>admin folder shows .htaccess_disabled. Could that be the problem ?

Rod...a belated thank you. Uploading the revised galleries.php and the lib folder did the trick.

Hi Rod

Just checked and both the Galleries in Pages and the AutoIndex template have the same settings.

I recently had to rebuild my galleries page due to a problem with a Bluehost update.

Previously, my Auto Index images on the galleries page (parent) were sized as 16 x 9 /2 columns and were static when the the page was resized. http://davidbuddphotography.com/galleries.php

Now when the page is resized the columns  change  to three.  However, the "child" images still retain the 2 column format when that page size is changed. http://davidbuddphotography.com/galleries/01-places/

The galleries were rebuilt via CE4 Publisher using the original Auto Index templates from the previous galleries

Thanks..David

#47 Re: CE4 Publisher » Published galleries missing after upgrade » 2016-10-17 23:32:50

The plug-in was put in a permanent folder on the hard drive, which always worked until the upgrade to LR 6.6.1.
I did as you suggested and installed it the "modules" folder and it no longer goes missing when shut down...so thanks for that, it solved that problem.

The other issue is that all my data. that is my webpage gallery structure is now missing from the TTG C4 Publish Service area of LR. so
i can longer upload to my site,

I suppose to solve that issue would be to start from scratch and delete the galleries one by one on the website and then upload again from publisher using my existing  LR collection that I used initially?

The API URL authenticates, and I am using the same catalog as previous.

After I installed the Publisher plug-in it now indicates as "not saved" even though I have pressed the Save Button.
When I shut down LR and then restart the plug-in is missing. Re-install and the same happens.

Lightroom 6.6.1 OS 10.5.5  & TTG Publisher 2.3.3

After reinstalling the Publisher plugin all the gallery folders are now missing from Lightroom's Publish Services.

Is there away of re-sysnching, or do I have to start from scratch and re-publish the website again.

I still have the complete  hierarchy of galleries and images as  a "collection"

Thanks
