No it works correctly. I let the setting now so, so Ben or Matt can check it.
Compare my custom.css with the css-section in the index.php (with inspector) a gallery.
You will find the different values, because the custom.css will n o t overwrite the settings in Album Settings in Backlight.

Login in my Backlight Admin and change the value to 250 px and you will see, that all is ok.

Hi, I worked and tested a lot of hours with custom.css and all works fine. I tested also with iPad and iPhone. All looks fine. But suddenly the gallery thumbs on mobile view have the same border as on desktop view. I don't know what I did. There is no fallback ???
Any idea?

But sorry, one other question. I am working with custom.css. If I set under .the__gallery figure the with: 250px, the thumbs in the galleries are no longer centered. What can I do?

I think I have found the error.
This value will not overwrite the setting in - Album Settings - Thumbnail Presentation - Width.
In my custom.css I have a value of 250 px.
I have tested and set in Album Settings a value of 270 px.
Now the thumb images are offset. In the index.php you will find in the css-section .the__gallery figure also the value of 270 px.
Please have a look at my custom.css file and you will see the difference.
If I take in Album Settings the same value like in custom.css, all the thumbs are ok.

No I made a mistake with small letter - title - before I uploaded images. I didn't republished after correction. Republishing now. But your screen capture is correct. If I change the tokens from - title - to - caption -, I cannot see my text under the thumbs. Under the single image it appears, why? Don't know. If I delete the tokens in - Photos Caption - and - Photos Title -, the text in single image appears even so.

No, the tokens are right in English. In German version of Lightroom it is - Bildunterschrift - like on the screen capture right. In the German - Bildunterschrift - I wrote - caption - to show you, that it appears unter the thumb.
In Backlight there is - title -. Log in to my Backlight Admin.

If I write - test - in Lightroom in the title field an republish the image it appears. But my metadata from my old TTG Galleries are in the german field - Bildunterschrift - this is translated - caption -. If I change the metadata to - caption - nothing changes.
When I first uploaded the same album, the caption was under every thumb. So I must have maken a mistake, but which?

In the german field - Bildunterschrift - (this was the caption in old TTG Gallery Slimbox) I have all my captions. They are shown under the images. If I change in the Metadata - Backlight - Album Settings - Image Settings - the Metadata 01, 02, Photos Caption, Photos Title, I cannot see any changes in my Thumbnails or under my images.

This appears only in Backlight if you are logged in as Admin. It is the autorefresh button. Click on it. Every changes you do as Admin you will see after autorefresh.

I meant that I set my caption of the images in Lightroom in the wrong field? Therefor the screen capture.
I will try tomorrow to republish the images with Lightroom.

I want to search with different keywords. If I search to - Wrangell - and - Vancouver - I get only photos of Vancouver, because V is before W.
In the Album result I get both albums where the photos are.
What can I do to find the right photos with multi keyword search?

Ok I got it and I worked today about 7 hours. I stored the css file out of index.php and changed a lot of values to understand. The work goes on and now I will have fun to create my new homepage.
